Abstract
The late introduction of the minimum wage was supposed to bring a new light of hope for the neglected RMG workers in Bangladesh. moreover in light of some current incidents, which was the manifestation of workers contend and protesting, the hope that was promised to the workers seems to be dimming to dark.



Not only is the national minimum wage level incompetent to keep up with the notoriously growing inflation rate but workers voice of harassment also resonates the injustice done to them by the garment grind owners. There has recently been a report that the garments workers are not even paid the minimum wage that was fixed by the government. Furthermore, there were also reports that the workers are forced to work extra time and frequently threaten to be fired by the supervisors.
