Libya Revolution.
Introduction.
The Libya Revolution was an uprising in the North African artless that started in early 2011 (15th February) to the day Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was killed on 20th October 2011. The uprising was sparked by a series of similar uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt that disposed of the leaders of those countries Ben Ali and Hosni Mubarak respectively. The conflict start with amicable protests by Libyans but later exploded into an all aside civil war between Muammar Gaddafi and forces loyal to him against the local reserves that were fighting to remove him from origin and get rid of what they term his oppressive regime.
The main revolting party was the National transitional Council. Prior to the establishment of the council, the revolutionaries were seen as a headless fundamental law with not organized leadership. The establishment of the council on 27th February helped trust the organization an organized leadership and a sense of direction. in that respect were separate rebels in several Libyan towns that were not get together and the National Transition Council helped unite them and make the revolution a national movement. The main reason for the revolution was Gaddafis kleptocracy on Libya and the corruption that is associated with his regime.



Gaddafi had been in power since removing King Idris I from power in 1969 in a military coup and at that place was no sign of him relinquishing power to anybody else. The people some him were totally submissive to him and he dismissed anybody who opposed him. This meant that in that respect was no democracy in Libya and the Libyans wanted democracy in the country. There is also the accusation of fundamental human rights and freedoms in Libya. In 1973, Gaddafi established committees that spied on Libyans in many sectors of the government. Dissidents descry by the spies were then arrested and publicly executed without trials. These public executions were then shown on national television to instill fear in the Libyans.
